Switzerland - Blonay

I stayed in a Hostel in a small town called Blonay, it was AMAZING. Every day my friends and I made our way up to Les Pleiades and went sledging, there was Skiing available but that was a bit pricey for us. Its an absolutely beautiful Town with loads of travel links to other Towns including Geneve and Lausanne, its pretty high up so you get a view of Lake Geneva from the top of Les Pleiades...

Looks beautiful, the cold isn't for me though! I need heat on a holiday, theres no way I'm paying to be cold, lol.

Yeh nice pictures, did you take them I guess? I hear Switzerland is quite pricey though which puts me off a bit...

You'd be surprised at how warm it can be up there (obviously not in the snow) but when you're on top of the mountains its quite hot and I got sunburnt at the begining. Although the weather doesn't reflect that at the moment on the other side of lake geneva! http://www.trip-extras.com/switzerland/geneva

Oh and it is quite pricey I guess, just a bottle of coke was 5 Swiss Francs which are quite a strong currency at the moment. Think it was nearly £2 for one!

I'd rather walk it myself, were those trees you were dashing through?! I hope you had insurance!

Haha, you guys are insane, I agree with Ken on the insurance part! Did you get injured at all?!

Apart from giant bruises all over my rear, nothing too serious which is what we were expecting! There seemed to be far more trees when travelling that fast...
