To park or not to park

I'm going away for a long weekend but can't decide what's cheaper or more convenient - leaving my car in an airport car park or taking a taxi there and back....help anyone...

Well the cost element will depend on how far you live from the airport, but for convenience I will always park rather than get a taxi. You don't have to rely on the taxi picking you up on time, you can travel at the time that suits you on the day (if you have to pre-book your taxis like I do) and you know you'll always have your car ready and waiting for you when you land irrespective of any delays etc - and of course you won't need to engage in conversation with the all knowing taxi driver after a long flight...

Haha, how very unsociable, Bezmoid. I myself usually use a train to get to the Airport wherever it is as I normally go away for long stretches of time and don't dare leave my car behind... But most Airport car parks do have good security and cameras all over the show. I myself would probably get a taxi because I'd feel 'safer'. But I can be paranoid...

Let the taxi driver decide about that one! But back in the day I used to park at the Airport, although you had to ring up and book it then, none of this Internet booking was about
