I've got to travel through Heathrow Terminal 5 in a couple of weeks and am dreading the idea of my baggage going missing (apparently the fiasco of the lost baggage has cost BA £16m). Has anyone else been through Terminal 5 and if so did you get through smoothly?

No, I won't be using that terminal for a while! I think in the grand scheme of things, 16million isn't a lot to BA, but it sure is embarrassing which will do the most damage, I certainly will think twice before buying through them!

Yeh the thing is its hurting the rest of the airport, my brothers flight was delayed because loads of flights from Terminal 5 were moved to the other terminals and his was pushed back 6 hours! Bet he loved sitting next to burger king for 8 hours all together in total...

Yeah I saw that - the operations director and the customer services directors both got fired. That's going to help - they now need to bring in new people who have even less idea what's going on. Wouldn't want that job!
