I've always dreamed of doing the classic 3 day Inca Trail to the Lost City of the Incas (the incredible Machu Picchu). I did some research though and it looks like you have to book way in advance and it's pretty expensive. Has anyone done it and is it really worth the hype?

I'd love to do that after Uni, looks pretty breathtaking. Just been reading up on it and from the looks of it, it would be pretty expensive but such an experience!
